About Us

After living in Malawi, Africa, our founder, Daniel McCollum, had the idea of opening an office outside the US that would be used as a way to use tech jobs to impact lives.

Torrent Consulting was started in 2012 with a passion to use business to make a difference in the world. Focused on Salesforce consulting, it has grown to be a leading Salesforce consulting partner in the US.

In 2017, Torrent Consulting opened its office in Guatemala and began training up talent on the Salesforce platform. Fast forward six years, and Torrent has successfully trained and hired over 50 people in Guatemala, fully integrating them into our business.

During our years in Guatemala, we have built out the necessary infrastructure to recruit, hire, employ, and expand our team. Due to growing interest from other companies seeking to do the same, we launched Torrent Impact Sourcing in 2023. We aim to help small and midsize businesses in building and employing teams in Guatemala. We are passionate about serving as the gateway to the great talent in Guatemala and impacting the companies that employ them.
